HPU’s Bryan Nakasone, Breanne Patton join PacWest Magazine, The Radio Show on April 5

Breanne Patton HONOLULU, HI – Bryan Nakasone, the head softball coach at Hawai‘i Pacific, and Breanne Patton, the Tournament of Champions MVP, join Commissioner Bob Hogue and Director of Compliance Wayne Coito on PacWest Magazine, The Radio Show this week.

The show will air on Tuesday, April 5, at 10 a.m. in Honolulu, HI, at 1 p.m. on the West Coast and in Arizona, and at 2 p.m. in the Mountain Time Zone.

Hogue and Coito co-host the weekly Internet radio program that can be heard live at http://pacificwestsports.tv/.

Nakasone guided the Sea Warriors to the NCAA II Championship in 2010 and led HPU to the Tournament of Champions title on April 3.

Patton was named the MVP of the Tournament of Champions and earned a place on the All-Tournament Team.

Last week she hit .304 in 10 starts, going 7 for 23 with 10 runs, two doubles, one triple, a homer and six RBI. She also walked 10 times, was hit by a pitch, stole a base and had a .609 slugging rate along with a .529 on-base mark.

On the mound, Patton registered a 5-1 mark with a 2.10 ERA in six starts. She tossed six complete games and one shutout, struck out 24 hitters in 40 innings of work, and permitted opponents to hit .216.
