Chaminade’s Matt Maher, BYU-Hawaii’s Ken Wagner join PacWest Magazine, The Radio Show
HONOLULU, HI – Matt Mahar,
the head men’s basketball coach at Chaminade, and
Ken Wagner, the head men’s
basketball coach at BYU-Hawaii, join Commissioner Bob
Hogue and Director of Compliance Wayne
Coito for PacWest Magazine, The Radio
Show this week.
The show will air on Tuesday, March 8, at 10 a.m. in Honolulu, HI, noon on the West Coast, and 1 p.m. in the Mountain Time Zone.
Hogue and Coito co-host the weekly Internet radio program that can be heard live at http://pacificwestsports.tv/.
Both Mahar and Wagner will take their teams to Central Washington University later this week to compete in the NCAA II West Regional. Mahar and the Silverswords defeated Wagner and the Seasiders 84-82 in a thriller on Saturday night in Honolulu.
The Chaminade victory led to the Silverswords sharing the PacWest
title with Dixie State. The two clubs will square off in the
opening round of the NCAA’s on March 11.
The two guests round out the five PacWest head coaches taking their clubs to the NCAA Division II basketball tournaments this weekend.
Grand Canyon Head Women’s Coach Trent May and Dixie State Head Women’s Coach Angie Kristensen, along with Dixie State Head Men’s Coach Jon Judkins, have been previous guests of PacWest Magazine, The Radio Show, in recent weeks.
Hogue and Coito will preview the upcoming regional tournaments while also taking a look at a thrilling final week of the regular season.
