PacWest Magazine Radio kicks off season with Scholar-Athletes of the Year on KQCKLive

www.kqcklive.com SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. – The Pacific West Conference and KQCKLive are teaming up to broadcast PacWest Magazine Radio Show live every Thursday from 12-12:30 p.m. from the station’s studios in San Tan Valley, Ariz.

Tom Di Camillo, assistant commissioner for media relations, will host the 30-minute program each Thursday. Both the audio and the high definition streaming video will air live from the KQCK studios over the Internet beginning at 1 p.m. MDT/12 p.m. PDT/MST, and 9 a.m. HT.

This week Grand Canyon University student-athletes Kyle Ciliento and Samantha Murphy will join the program to talk about their outstanding success in 2010-11 both on the field and in the classroom.

Ciliento has been selected the 2010-11 PacWest Men’s Scholar Athlete of the Year, while Murphy has been chosen the 2010-11 PacWest Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Jason Boothe, the athletic director at Dixie State College of Utah, and Bill Villa, the athletic director at Chaminade University of Honolulu, will be guests of the program on Sept. 15.
