HONOLULU, HI – A new episode of PacWest
Magazine, The Television Show, premiers on OC-16 in Honolulu
on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 8
p.m. HAST.
Commissioner Bob Hogue, co-host Malia Smith, and Director of New Media Wayne Coito take a look at the people and places around the Pacific West Conference. The show is written and produced by Coito and Hogue, while Coito serves as the program’s editor.
This week’s episode features a story on BYU-Hawaii men’s basketball players Jet Change and Junior Ale along with highlights of the Seasiders’ game against Hawai‘i Hilo.
Viewers get an opportunity to delve inside the world of Hawai‘i Pacific Sports Information Director Brent Curry when he is spotlighted on the program, while the Dixie State men’s basketball team visits BYU-Hawaii for a showdown in Laie.
The episode unveils another segment of Hey Jane! when Jane Teixteira, the assistant commissioner for compliance, answers questions about the NCAA. This time she discusses the Division II Wishes Week.
The PacWest vault features a revisit to Dominican University of California and its new athletic complex.
PacWest Magazine, The TV Show begins its fall semester season in early December and returns in February and March for its winter edition. It is available online at www.oc16.tv.
While the show premiers on Tuesday night, the program is rebroadcast on OC-16 throughout the week.
