PacWest Magazine TV makes winter season debut on Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. HT on OC-16

www.oc16.com HONOLULU, HI – A new episode of PacWest Magazine, The Television Show, premiers on OC-16 in Honolulu on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 6:30 p.m. HAST.

Commissioner Bob Hogue, co-host Malia Smith, and Director of New Media Wayne Coito take a look at the people and places around the Pacific West Conference. The show is written and produced by Coito and Hogue, while Coito serves as the program’s editor.

This week’s episode features a review of the 2010-11 PacWest Commissioner's Cup race captured by Hawai‘i Pacific University. It also highlights the men’s basketball game between BYU-Hawaii and HPU and the women’s contest featuring Grand Canyon at Chaminade.

The episode unveils a new segment entitled Hey Jane! where Jane Teixteira, the assistant commissioner for compliance, answers questions about the NCAA.

In addition to the new feature, Academy of Art provides a segment about its campus, while the editors of the program dip into the PacWest vault to look back on the stellar history of the conference.

PacWest Magazine, The TV Show begins its fall semester season in early December and returns in February and March for its winter edition. It is available online at www.oc16.tv.

While the show premiers on Tuesday night, the program is rebroadcast on OC-16 throughout the week. Please consult the station’s website for rebroadcast times and dates.
