PacWest Magazine, The TV Show, makes debut Feb. 24 on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area
SAN FRANCISCO, CA –PacWest Magazine,
The Television Show, is coming to Comcast
SportsNet Bay Area beginning Thursday,
Feb. 24.
The show’s debut episode highlights the three Pacific West Conference institutions that reside in the San Francisco Bay Area – Notre Dame de Namur University, Dominican University of California, and Academy of Art University.
PacWest Commissioner Bob Hogue, co-host Malia Smith, and reporter Wayne Coito take a look at the people and places around the Pacific West Conference in this weekly program.
“It’s an honor for the PacWest to be showcased on the same station that features all of the great Bay Area sports,” Hogue said. Comcast SportsNet Bay Area is the largest cable sports station in the region.
This week’s show features fantastic finishes in PacWest basketball, including Notre Dame de Namur and Academy of Art, and a spotlight story on Academy of Art rookie sensation Will Overton.
Dominican basketball highlights and a visit to the PacWest Magazine vault with NDNU round out the show that will air on the following days:
- Feb. 24 - 2:30 p.m. (Debut)
- Feb. 28 - 4:30 p.m.
- March 1 - 2 p.m.
- March 2 - 3 p.m.
On Thursday, March 4, a new episode of PacWest Magazine, The Television Show, will makes its debut on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area. The second show is expected to feature Academy of Art basketball, a spotlight on Dominican’s Mike Wells, and a student-produced feature from Art U. Another visit to the PacWest Magazine vault will highlight the NDNU athletic program.
The show will air on the following days:
- March 3 - 4:30 p.m. (Debut)
- March 4 - 1 a.m.
- March 13 - 1 p.m.
PacWest Magazine, The Television Show, is written and produced by Bob Hogue and Wayne Coito with video work by Barry Markowitz and studio production provided by BYU-Hawaii.
The weekly winter edition of PacWest Magazine, The Television Show, also airs in February and March in Honolulu on OC16 and is available online at http://www.oc16.tv/shows/57. New episodes begin each Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. HST (10 p.m. PST/11 p.m. MST).
