PacWest Magazine, The TV Show kicks off winter schedule with Dixie State-GCU hoops

HONOLULU, HI – The first installment of PacWest Magazine, The Television Show’s winter 2011 season, premiers on OC-16 in Honolulu Tuesday, Feb. 1, at 8 p.m. HST (10 p.m. PST/11 p.m. MST).

Commissioner Bob Hogue, co-host Malia Smith, and reporter Wayne Coito take a look at the people and places around the Pacific West Conference.

This week’s debut features a story on the conference basketball openers between Dixie State and Grand Canyon, plus a spotlight on Justin Smith of Hawai‘i Hilo and a fun student-athlete feature from Academy of Art's women's tennis visit to Hawai‘i.

In addition to the Tuesday night premier, the show is rebroadcast on OC-16 on the following days at the following HST times:

  • Wednesdays - 2 a.m. & 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursdays - 5 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.
  • Fridays - 10 p.m.
  • Saturdays – 4 a.m. & 1 p.m.

PacWest Magazine, The Television Show, is written and produced by Bob Hogue and Wayne Coito with video work by Barry Markowitz and studio production provided by BYU-Hawaii.

The weekly winter edition airs in February and March. The show also will be available online at http://www.oc16.tv/shows/57 or can be found through the PacWest website at www.thepacwest.com.
