National TV game, GCU Head Coach Russ Pennell focus of PacWest Magazine, The TV Show

Russ Pennell HONOLULU, HI – The second installment of PacWest Magazine, The Television Show’s, winter 2011 season premiers on Honolulu’s OC-16 and www.oc16.tv Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 8 p.m. HST (10 p.m. PST/11 p.m. MST).

Commissioner Bob Hogue, co-host Malia Smith, and reporter Wayne Coito take a look at the people and places around the Pacific West Conference.

This week the cast heads to Phoenix where Hogue provides an up-close look at the excitement of PacWest basketball on national television. On Jan. 29, CBS College Sports televised live  - across the nation - the BYU-Hawaii at Grand Canyon men’s basketball contest.

In addition, Coito shines the spotlight on Grand Canyon Head Coach Russ Pennell, while the show revisits the Hawai‘i Challenge that helped ignite this exciting basketball season.

PacWest Magazine, The Television Show, also will unveil a terrific student-produced video and take a look inside the PacWest Magazine Vault.

In addition to the Tuesday night premier, the show is rebroadcast on OC-16 on the following days at the following HST times:

  • Wednesdays - 2 a.m. & 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursdays - 5 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.
  • Fridays - 10 p.m.
  • Saturdays – 4 a.m. & 1 p.m.

PacWest Magazine, The Television Show, is written and produced by Bob Hogue and Wayne Coito with video work by Barry Markowitz and studio production provided by BYU-Hawaii.
