Grand Canyon’s Trent May, Samantha Murphy join PacWest Magazine, The Radio Show

Samantha Murphy HONOLULU, HI – Trent May, the head women’s basketball coach at Grand Canyon, and Samantha Murphy, one of the top players in all of Division II, join Commissioner Bob Hogue and Director of Compliance Wayne Coito live in the studio for PacWest Magazine, The Radio Show.

The show will air live on Tuesday, March 1, at 10 a.m. in Honolulu, HI, noon on the West Coast, and 1 p.m. in the Mountain Time Zone.

Hogue and Coito co-host the weekly Internet radio program that can be heard live at http://pacificwestsports.tv/.

With the Antelopes in Hawai‘i for the final week of the regular season, both May and Murphy will appear live in the studio for the broadcast. Murphy leads all of Division II in scoring (25.2 ppg.) and free throw shooting (91.5%).

She has set records for points in a game (49), season (654) and career (2,015) at Grand Canyon and was recently selected Capital One Academic All-America First Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

May is looking for his fourth conference title in five seasons. If the Antelopes win their final three PacWest games this week, Grand Canyon will clinch at least a share of the league title.

Hogue and Coito also will preview the final five days of the PacWest regular season in basketball and review the latest players of the week.
