HONOLULU – For the third consecutive year, Hawai'i Pacific is involved in National Girls & Women in Sports Day.

This year's theme is Girls in Sports, An Investment in the Future and will take place on Jan. 27 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on the Hawai'i Loa Campus. HPU is the only college in Hawai‘i to put on such an event.

Girls ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade can take part in sport specific clinics led by HPU student athletes and coaches.

Representatives will be on hand from the following women's sports teams - volleyball, soccer, cross country, basketball, tennis, golf, softball and cheerleading/dance.

The event is free and each participant will get lunch and a T-shirt.
