PacWest Magazine, The TV Show boasts more than 17,000 video views on YouTube
HONOLULU, HI – Since the Pacific West Conference
began airing full episodes of PacWest Magazine, The Television
Show, on the conference’s website, the number of video
views has soared to more than 17,000.
The most recent numbers indicate 17,523 video views have been recorded through May 29, 2012.
Wayne Coito, the director of new media for the league, developed the PacWest YouTube channel and began moving full-length episodes of PacWest Magazine, The Television Show, to the site this spring.
Complete episodes from the three most recent seasons are currently available on the PacWest website at www.thepacwest.com or on the PacWest YouTube site.
“This sets the stage for future episodes to air directly on the PacWest website as soon as they have been filmed and edited,” Coito explained. “It gives our conference more flexibility in developing quality and timely programming, and opens up another asset for the PacWest.”
Commissioner Bob Hogue, Malia Smith and Coito host the program that looks at the people and places around the Pacific West Conference. The show is written and produced by Coito and Hogue, while Coito serves as the program’s editor.
The PacWest will continue to add previously aired episodes of PacWest Magazine, The Television Show throughout the coming months as it builds an archive of video activity for the conference.
