PacWest Magazine Video debuts on homepage with introduction of Jane Teixeira
PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Pacific West Conference has
added another vehicle to its social media inventory by launching
PacWest Magazine Video now appearing on the homepage of
the conference’s website.
The video component of the PacWest website augments the recently launched PacWest Channel on YouTube that Director of New Media Wayne Coito is spearheading.
The inaugural video clip features an introduction of Jane Teixeira, the new assistant commissioner for compliance who joined the PacWest in August.
Enhancements to the video section of the website will continue over the next few weeks as videos are developed, and the site will include additional information and options to choose from multiple selections.
The social media links now woven into the PacWest website – www.thepacwest.com - include showcasing tweets on the front page, links to game stories, live stats, broadcasts and box scores, and post- and pre-event Tweets to keep fans in tune with the latest results.
In early October, fans were presented with an opportunity to sign up for the PacWest News Delivered to You service offered by the conference.
The enhancement to that service now includes the ability to sign up for news from a specific sport in addition to getting everything. Followers of the conference can sign up to receive e-mailed news releases, including players of the week for all of the sports and All-PacWest selections that are delivered to their own social media accounts.
Also in September, The PacWest Magazine Radio Show re-launched as an Internet-based 30-minute program on www.KQCKLive.com in San Tan Valley, Ariz. The show is hosted by Tom Di Camillo, assistant commissioner for media relations, and highlights a variety of student-athlete, programs and administrative personnel from the schools throughout the PacWest.
In addition to the audio broadcast, the program is delivered in high definition streaming video live from the KQCK studios each Thursday at 1 p.m. MDT, 12 p.m. PDT/MST, and 9 a.m. HT.
