Pacific West Conference unveils new logo
PHOENIX, AZ – Over the course of the last five
years, the Pacific West Conference has doubled in size from seven
to 14 institutions, setting the stage for the league to become the
largest NCAA Division II conference in the West Region.
The transformation of the PacWest continued on Wed., Aug. 3, when the conference unveiled its new logo.
Created by the student designers of conference member Academy of Art University, the new PacWest logo is a slick yet simple modern representation of the league and the locations of its teams. It also represents the future and dramatic progress the league, and its member institutions, have made over the last five years.
Beginning in 2012-13, the Pacific West Conference will consist of 14 institutions spread over four time zones and four different states.
