PacWest Men's Basketball Game of the Week - Hawai'i Pacific vs. Dixie State on Feb. 25

Dalton Groskreutz ST. GEORGE, Utah – The Hawai'i Pacific men's basketball team visits St. George, Utah, on Monday night, Feb. 25, to take on Dixie State in a critical Pacific West Conference game that has been selected the PacWest Men's Basketball Game of the Week.

The Sea Warriors are in a must-win situation as they fight for the final berth in the inaugural PacWest Men's Basketball Championship Tournament that will run March 7-9 at Azusa Pacific University.

An HPU victory over Dixie State would be a huge leap for the Sea Warriors who are tied with Academy of Art for the sixth and final playoff slot. Hawai'i Hilo is one game back in the loss column.

The Red Storm is in a "sort-of" must-win situation if it plans on claiming the regular-season title and securing a first-round bye. Dixie State currently is 13-3 in the PacWest and tied for first place with Grand Canyon and Chaminade with two games to play.

Zach Robbins leads Dixie State with his 13.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per-game averages. Dalton Groskreutz is boasting 12.3 points per game, while Steve Larson is kicking in 12.1 points per outing.

HPU is led by Malte Ziegenhagen, who is averaging 14.7 points per game, and Marko Cukic, who is recording 10.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest.
