Canned or non-perishable food item earns admission to PLNU-Pacifica men's hoop contest

SAN DIEGO – The Point Loma Athletic Department is offering free admission to the men's basketball contest this Saturday, Dec. 29, for all fans who bring a canned or non-perishable food item to the contest.

The game between the PLNU Sea Lions and Pacifica Gladiators will tip off at 1 p.m. PST.

Donations will be taken at the gate. Some of the most desirable foods to contribute are canned meats and fish, peanut butter, canned fruit, soups and tomato products.

PLNU is in its first season of competition in the Pacific West Conference.
