HPU's Alessandro Radice-Fossati chosen PacWest Men’s Golfer of the Week for Feb. 21-27
PHOENIX, AZ - Hawai‘i Pacific sophomore
Alessandro Radice-Fossati (Milan, Italy)
has been chosen the Pacific West Conference Men’s Golfer of
the Week for the third week of the season.
The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Friday, March 18, for events contested Feb. 21-27.
Radice-Fossati finished first overall during a dual-meet match with Chaminade on Feb. 23. He fired an even par round of 72 at the Luana Hills Country Club in Kailua, outdistancing four of his teammates and a trio of Silversword players.
Editor’s Note: Although Chaminade fielded just three golfers in the dual match, the NCAA recognized the contest for the individual players but not for a team result. Since there were no other matches involving PacWest teams scheduled during the week of Feb. 21-27, no Golfer of the Week or Top 10 was selected. Since the confirmation of this match as being an eligible contest, the PacWest is honoring its outstanding student-athletes for competition during that week.

Harry Chang - Hawai‘i Pacific (Fr., 5-9, 140, Portland,
OR/Westview)...fired an 81 on the Par 72 Luana Hills
Country Club in Kailua on Feb. 23 during a dual meet with
Chaminade...finished fifth among HPU entries and fifth overall in
the two-team event.
Brett Hasenmueler - Chaminade (So., 5-10, 185, R, St. Louis, MO/St. John Vianney)...topped the Silverswords with a 91 on the Par 72 Luana Hills Country Club in Kailua on Feb. 23 during a dual meet with Hawai‘i Pacific...finished sixth overall.
Mac Keats - Hawai‘i Pacific (Fr., 6-0, 160, Conchrane, Alberta, Canada/Conchrane)...carded a 75 on the Par 72 Luana Hills Country Club in Kailua on Feb. 23 during a dual meet with Chaminade...tied for second among the Sea Warriors and second overall in the two-team event.
Jordan Oda - Chaminade (So., 5-10, 165, R, Kapa‘a, HI/Kauai)...finished second among the Silverswords and seventh overall with a round of 94 on the Par 72 Luana Hills Country Club in Kailua on Feb. 23...score came during a dual meet with Hawai‘i Pacific.
Andy Rodby - Hawai‘i Pacific (Fr., 6-3, 220, Redmond, OR/Redmond)...posted a 75 on the Par 72 Luana Hills Country Club in Kailua on Feb. 23 during a dual meet with Chaminade...tied for second among the Sea Warriors and second overall in the two-team event.
Matt Tweddell - Hawai‘i Pacific (So., 6-2, 165, Birmingham, England)...fired a 76 on the Par 72 Luana Hills Country Club in Kailua on Feb. 23 during a dual meet with Chaminade...finished fourth among the Sea Warriors and fourth overall.
