Dixie State junior Kyle Chappell named PacWest Men’s Golfer of the Week
PHOENIX, AZ - Dixie State junior Kyle
Chappell (Richfield, UT/Richfield) has been chosen
the Pacific West Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week.
The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, March 7, for events contested Feb. 28 - March 6.
Chappell finished third overall and first among the Red Storm entries at the Coyote Classic hosted by Cal State San Bernardino on Feb. 28 and March 1.
He fired a three-round score of 207 in leading Dixie State to a sixth-place finish, posting a 72 during the first 18 holes, followed by a 67 and 68 in the final two rounds.
Chappell finished four strokes under par on the Par 70, 6,525-yard course.

Nick Drost - Dixie State (So., 6-2, 160, Salt Lake City, UT/Brighton)...tied for 16th overall and was second among Red Storm entries at the Coyote Classic hosted by Cal State San Bernardino on Feb. 28 and March 1...fired a three-round score of 216 (71-72-73) in leading Dixie State to a sixth-place finish...finished six strokes over par on the Par 70, 6,525-yard course.
