PHOENIX, AZ - Dixie State senior Connor Jones (South Jordan, UT/Bingham) has been chosen the Pacific West Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week.

The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, March 28, for events contested March 21-27.

Jones tied for ninth overall while also finishing first among Red Storm entries and PacWest golfers at the 2011 Mustang Invitational hosted by Western New Mexico University in  March 20-22.

The event was held at the Par 72, 7,351-yard Championship Course at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM.

Jones fired a three-round score of 230, sandwiching an 18-hole score of 80 between two rounds of 75. He finished the event 14 over par.
