Hawai‘i Pacific junior forward Chance Bukoski earns Men’s Soccer Player of Week award

Chance Bukoski PHOENIX, AZ - Hawai‘i Pacific junior forward Chance Bukoski (Lihue, HI/Kapaa) has been selected the Pacific West Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the second time this season.

The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Nov. 1, for games played Oct. 25-31.

Bukoski led the Sea Warriors to a 2-0-0 record by scoring two goals and assisting on two others to finish the week with four points.

He scored the game’s second goal and then added a pair of assists in 8-0 thumping of Chaminade on Oct. 27.

He then forged a 1-1 tie in the 73rd minute vs. Hawai‘i Hilo in a game that the Sea Warriors eventually claimed 3-2 in overtime.

Viktor Bezhani Viktor Bezhani - BYU-Hawaii (Sr., 5-11, 175, M, Tirana, Albania)...scored two goals and amassed four points in 1-1 week for the Seasiders...recorded both goals at Chaminade on Oct. 25 in 4-2 win...scored game’s first goal on a penalty kick at 7:23...made it 2-0 on a goal at 55:31.

Kyle Ciliento - Grand Canyon (So., 5-10, 170, F, Phoenix, AZ/Pinnacle)...scored both Antelope goals in a 1-0-1 week...tallied the game-winning goal at Academy of Art on Oct. 28 in 1-0 victory...tallied game-tying goal in 73rd minute at NDNU on Oct. 30 in a 1-1 double-overtime draw...finished week with four points.

Aaron Drewery - BYU-Hawaii (Jr., 6-0, 175, D, Great Yarmouth, England/Lynn Grove)...scored two goals and totaled four points in 1-1 week for the Seasiders...both scores came at Chaminade on Oct. 25 in a 4-2 win...tallied game-winning goal at 56:06...added an insurance goal at 84:28.

Brett Force - Academy of Art (So., 6-1, 178, D, Portland, OR/Westview)...scored game’s first two goals and finished with four points in 3-2 double-overtime victory at Dominican (CA) on Oct. 30...tied game 1-1 at 34:40...tied game 2-2 and forced overtime with goal at 85:35.

Drew Geis Drew Geis - Hawai‘i Hilo (Sr., 6-0, 170, M, Honolulu, HI/Kapolei)...posted four points on a goal and two assists during a 1-2 week for the Vulcans...recorded both assists in 4-1 victory at home vs. BYU-Hawaii on Oct. 28...first assist came on what would prove to be the game-winner at 62:27...scored game-tying goal on a penalty kick in the 83rd minute that forced overtime vs. Hawai‘i Pacific on Oct. 30...Vulcans fell in overtime 3-2 on an own goal.

Richard Guffens - Hawai‘i Pacific (Jr., 6-5, 200, F, Leiden, Netherlands)...recorded six points on three goals in 2-0-0 week for Sea Warriors...scored two goals in 8-0 win vs. Chaminade on Oct. 27...scored a goal that put HPU ahead 2-1 vs. Hawai‘i Hilo on Oct. 30...Sea Warriors won 3-2 in overtime.

Jordan Kitabayashi - Chaminade (Fr., 5-7, NA, D, Waimea, HI/Waimea)...registered a three-point game in 4-2 loss vs. BYU-Hawaii on Oct. 25...scored a goal and had an assist to figure in all of Chaminade’s scoring for the week.

Jordan Roylance Kimo Komomua - Hawai‘i Pacific (So., 5-8, 145, M, Honolulu, HI/Kamehameha School)...had two goals and an assist in five-point effort vs. Chaminade on Oct. 27...HPU won contest 8-0.

Mike Moloney - Hawai‘i Pacific (Sr., 6-1, 170, D, Phoenix, AZ/North Canyon)...scored a pair of goals and finished game with four points in 8-0 shutout of Chaminade on Oct. 27.

Jordan Roylance - Dixie State (So., 5-10, 160, F, Smithfield, UT/Sky View)...registered a three-point game in Red Storm’s 4-0 shutout of Chaminade on Oct. 30...scored a goal and added an assist.
