Hawai‘i Hilo senior middie Drew Geis selected PacWest Men’s Soccer Player of the Week

PHOENIX, AZ - Hawai‘i Hilo senior midfielder Drew Geis (Honolulu, HI/Kapolei) has been selected the Pacific West Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week.

The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Oct. 11, for games played Oct. 4-10.

Geis recorded the hat-trick at Chaminade on Oct. 7, scoring three times in the 6-0 Vulcan victory over the Silverswords.

He finished the game with six points and was credited with the game-winner.

Chance Bukoski - Hawai‘i Pacific (Jr., 6-0, 185, F, Lihue, HI/Kapaa)...had two goals and an assist in four games during the week...registered five points...scored the game-winning goal in 2-0 triumph at Grand Canyon on Oct. 6...scored a goal in loss at Western Washington on Oct. 10...had an assist vs. Grand Canyon on Oct. 4.

Mitchell Garcia - Grand Canyon (Jr., 5-10, 175, M, Avondale, AZ/Agua Fria)...scored game-winning goal vs. Hawai‘i Pacific on Oct. 4 in a 2-1 victory...punched in shot off a rebound.

Arturo Gomez - Notre Dame de Namur (Jr., 5-8, 155, M, San Diego, CA/Castle Park)...headed in game-winning goal in 85th minute of a 2-1 victory vs. Academy of Art on Oct. 9.

Jesus Gonzalez - Notre Dame de Namur (Fr., 5-8, 145, M, Santa Barbara, CA/Santa Barbara)...recorded a three-point week for the Argos...scored a goal in 4-0 win vs. Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 5...set up the game-winning goal in 2-1 triumph at Academy of Art on Oct. 9.

Pedro Guervara - Dominican (CA) (Jr., 5-5, 145, M, Santa Rosa, CA/Montgomery)... scored both goals in 2-1 victory at Academy of Art on Oct. 7...credited with game-winner...finished contest with four points.

Cristobal Montes - Notre Dame de Namur (Jr., 5-9, 150, F, Fremont, CA/John F.
