HONOLULU, HI – Hawai'i Pacific senior men's soccer player Chance Bukoski has been selected the Male Sportsperson of the Month for October by the Honolulu Quarterback Club.

Every month the Honolulu Quarterback Club selects one female and one male athlete who has excelled in their sport for the month, whether it be a local or national event.

At the end of the year, the HQC selects a Female and Male Sportsperson of the Year from the monthly winners.

The HQC takes a hiatus during football season, but we will resume its weekly Monday luncheons on Jan. 26 at the Maple Garden Restaurant.

Since the season ended with HPU's earning a share of its first PacWest Men's Soccer Championship, Bukoski has received many accolades.

He was named to the All-PacWest and All-Region First Teams, and was chosen as the PacWest Player of the Year. He remains an All-America candidate.
