CBU’s Joey Pacheco earns first PacWest Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week award of 2012

Joey Pacheco (Riverside, CA/Martin Luther
King) has been selected the first Pacific West
Conference Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week for 2012.
The conference announced the honor on Saturday, Sept. 22, for the first week of games contested Aug. 31-Sept. 2.
Pacheco led Lancers to a 2-0-0 start to the season by tossing back-to-back shutouts vs. UC San Diego (2-0 on Aug. 30) and Cal State Dominguez Hills (1-0 on Sept. 1).
He halted eight shots over 180 minutes of action during the two games, including rebuffing seven shots in a 1-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills.
