Dominican’s Erik Anderson repeats as PacWest Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
PHOENIX, Ariz. - Dominican junior
Erik Anderson (Davis, CA/Davis Senior)
has been selected the Pacific West Conference Men’s
Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week for the second straight
week.
The conference announced the honor on Sunday, Oct. 7, for games contested Sept. 24-30.
Anderson posted a 2-0-0 mark in a pair of one-goal victories for the Penguins for the second consecutive seven-day stretch.
He halted 15 of 18 shots on goal with a 2.00 goals against average; however, one score was an own goal knocked into his net vs. Holy Names on Sept. 25.
He stopped eight shots in a 4-3 win vs. Holy Names on Sept. 25 and halted seven in a 2-1 victory at Academy of Art on Sept. 27.
