Dixie State’s Tyler Walters repeats as PacWest Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
PHOENIX, Ariz. – Dixie State sophomore
netminder Tyler Walters (Hurricane,
UT/Hurricane) repeated as the Pacific West
Conference Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week.
The conference announced the honor on Monday, Oct. 15, for games contested Oct. 8-14.
Walters posted a 1-0-1 record for the Red Storm during the week that featured a 0.45 goals against average with a .938 save percentage.
He played 200 minutes in net and halted 15 of 16 shots on goal, including 6 of 7 in a 2-1 win over BYU-Hawaii on Oct. 8.
He also repelled all nine shots on goal he faced in a 0-0 double-overtime draw vs. Hawai‘i Pacific on Oct. 11.
