PHOENIX, Ariz. – Grand Canyon senior forward Saeed Robinson (Portmore, Jamaica/Wolmers Boys School) has been selected the Pacific West Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week.

The conference announced the honor on Monday, Oct. 22, for games contested Oct. 15-21.

Robinson amassed nine points on four goals and an assist in a 2-0-0 week for the Antelopes. He led Grand Canyon to back-to-back conference victories over Dixie State on Oct. 16 (3-2 in overtime) and Oct. 20 (3-0).

At Dixie State on Oct. 16, Robinson scored the game’s first two goals at 0:41 and 22:21 to put the Antelopes up 2-0. Dixie State tied the game 2-2 on goals in the 78^th and 79^th minute, but Robinson completed the hat-trick - along with his six-point effort - 1:01 into overtime when he punched home the game-winner.

On Oct. 20 before a home crowd, Robinson scored the game’s second goal at 39:25 for a 2-0 lead over the Red Storm before assisting Brandon Hansen in the 71^st minute on the game’s final tally.
