PHOENIX, AZ – The Pacific West Conference maintained four teams in the Top 8 of the most recent NCAA Division II West Region Softball Rankings, improving the conference chances of landing a quartet of clubs in the national championship tournament.

Hawai‘i Pacific remains the number one team in the West Region, while Grand Canyon stayed at number two for the second straight week. Hawai‘i Hilo moved up another notch from fifth to fourth after splitting a four-game set with HPU, while Dixie State hung in at seventh. Dixie State is the reigning West Region Champion.
