(March 26, 2012) - Player of the Week (March 19-25)...Courtney Sherwin - Dixie State (Fr., 5-10, OF, R/R, Mesa, AZ/Red Mountain)...led Red Storm to sweep of Hawai‘i Pacific by hitting .538 in four starts...went 7 for 13 with five runs scored, two doubles, a triple, a home run and 12 runs batted in...also walked once...had a 1.077 slugging rate and a .571 on-base mark.
(March 26, 2012) - Pitcher of the Week (March 19-25)...Kimberly Dauer - Academy of Art (Jr., 5-6, P, R/R, Los Osos, CA/Morro Bay)...posted a 3-1 mark for the Urban Knights during a 5-1 week...turned in a 0.97 ERA in five appearances and four starts...reeled off three complete games, including one shutout...struck out 27 batters in 29.0 innings of action...permitted just four earned runs and three extra-base hits during the week...opponents hit .213.

Johnna Brown - Dixie State (Jr., 6-0, SS, R/R, Las Vegas, NV/Centennial)...batted .533 in four starts for the Red Storm during a 4-0 sweep of HPU...was 8 for 13 with five runs scored, two doubles, a triple and nine RBI...had an .800 slugging rate and a .533 on-base mark.
