PHOENIX, AZ - Notre Dame de Namur junior guard Natellie Saia (Morro Bay, CA/Morro May) has been selected the Pacific West Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.

The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Dec. 5, for games contested Nov. 30 - Dec. 4.

Saia led the Argos to a 63-59 road victory over #9 Grand Canyon on Dec. 3 in the PacWest opener for both squads.

She scored 13 points, handed out seven assists, shot 75.0% (3 for 4) from the field, and was perfect from the foul line (6 for 6).

She had a 1.2 assist/turnover ratio and made 1 of 2 three-point attempts.

Paris Gravely - Hawai‘i Pacific (Sr., 5-5, G, Fairfield, CA/Fairfield)...helped HPU to a 77-71 win over Chaminade in PacWest opener on Dec. 4 - lone game of the week for the Sea Warriors...shot 70.0% (7 for 10) from the field en route to a 19-point game...made 3 of 7 (42.8%) attempts from beyond the arc...went 2 for 2 from the line.

Simone Holmes - California Baptist (Jr., 5-8, G, Phoenix, AZ/South Mountain)...scored 15 points, grabbed three rebounds, recorded three steals, shot 50.0% (5 for 10) from the field, and converted 80.0% (4 for 5) from the line.

Mana Hopkins - Hawai‘i Pacific (Sr., 5-10, F, Kona, HI/Konawaena)...helped HPU to a 77-71 win over Chaminade in PacWest opener on Dec. 4 - lone game of the week for the Sea Warriors...scored 10 points and inhaled 13 rebounds...doled out five assists.

Stevie Kamp - Grand Canyon (Sr., 6-0, F, Mesa, AZ/Mountain View)...scored 11 points, handed out two assists and grabbed eight rebounds in 63-59 loss vs. NDNU on Dec. 3...shot 75.0% (3 for 4) from the line.

Brittney Lewis - California Baptist (Jr., 5-9, G/F, Rancho Cucamonga, CA/Etiwanda)...had 15 points while shooting 66.7% (4 for 6) from the field in 86-53 win vs. La Sierra - CBU’s lone game of the week...made 6 of 7 (85.7% 7) free throw attempts.

Trisha Malaspina - Notre Dame de Namur (Jr., 6-0, C, Burlingame, CA/Burlingame)...led Argos to 63-59 victory at #9 Grand Canyon on Dec. 3 - their lone game of the week...scored 14 points and collected five rebounds in the win...shot 88.9% (8 for 9) from the line.
