BYU-Hawaii goalie Becky Ploeger takes final weekly honor
Becky Ploeger earns final PacWest weekly honor of 2009

Becky Ploeger (Broomfield, CO/Standley
Lake) has been named the final Pacific West
Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for 2009.
The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Nov. 9, for games played Nov. 2-8.
Ploeger (right) posted a 3-0-0 mark during the final week of the season, recording shutouts vs. Hawai‘i Hilo (1-0) on Nov. 3 and Chaminade (4-0) on Nov. 5. She also registered a 3-1 win at Hawai‘i Pacific on Nov. 7.
During her three victories, Ploeger boasted a 0.33 goals against average with eight saves and an .889 save percentrage. She allowed just one goal over 270 minutes of action.

minute vs. Hawai‘i Hilo on Nov. 5...HPU eventually won in
double-overtime 2-1...assisted on game's first goal vs. BYU-Hawaii
Sea Warriors eventually lost 3-1.
Natalie Cude - BYU-Hawaii (So., 5-4, M, Sandy, UT/Alta)...scored a pair of goals, including game-winner, in 4-0 shutout of Chaminade on Nov. 5...finished game with four points.
Nichole Elias - Grand Canyon (Sr., 5-8, M/F, Tucson, AZ/Saguaro)...accumulated four points on two goals vs. Academy of Art on Nov. 7...tied game 1-1 on her first goal with less than a minute to play in the first half...punched in game-winner just over a minute into the second half...GCU won contest 4-1.
Amber Fuller - Hawai‘i Pacific (Fr., 5-6, M, Pearl City, HI/Kamehameha Schools)...scored two goals and totaled four points in two games for the Sea Warriors...scored both goals vs. Chaminade on Nov. 3 in a 7-1 win.
Carly Haycock - Dixie State (Sr., 5-4, M/D, Bountiful, UT/Bountiful)...scored three times, including one game-winner, during a 2-1-0 week for Dixie State...scored game-winner in 2-1 victory over NDNU on Nov. 7 that sealed outright PacWest title for the Red Storm...tallied a pair of insurance goals vs. Academy of Art on Nov. 5 in a 3-0 win that gave the Red Storm a share of the PacWest crown and the NCAA II automatic qualifier.
Jamie Hirai - Hawai‘i Pacific (Sr., 5-3, M, Captain Cook, HI/Konawaena)...recorded four points in three games last week for the Sea Warriors...had a goal and two assists...assisted on game-tying and winning goals on Nov. 5 in a double-overtime, come-from-behind HPU victory over Hawai‘i Hilo...also scored a goal vs. Chaminade in 7-1 win on Nov. 3.
Emily Mearns - BYU-Hawaii (Jr., 5-6, F, San Ramon,
CA/California)...racked up six points in three games
for the Seasiders during a 3-0-0 week to close out the
season...scored two goals and had two assists...assisted on
game-winning goal in 1-0 blanking of Hawai‘i Hilo on Nov.
3...had a goal and an assist in 4-0 shutout of Chaminade on Nov.
5...tallied goal at HPU on Nov. 7 in 3-1 Seasider victory.
Camille Peterson (left) - Dixie State (So., 5-6, M, North Logan, UT/Sky View)...tallied three points on a goal and an assist in a 2-1-0 week for Dixie State...scored game-winner vs. Academy of Art on Nov. 5 to give the Red Storm a share of the PacWest Championship and a berth in the NCAA II Tournament...assisted on game's first goal vs. NDNU on Nov. 7...Dixie State won 2-1 to give the Red Storm the outright conference title.
Sanoe Souza - Hawai‘i Pacific (Fr., 5-3, M, Honolulu, HI/Kamehameha School-Oahu)...produced five points over three games in a 2-1-0 week for the Sea Warriors...scored two goals and added an assist...contributed an assist on Nov. 3 in 7-1 win over Chaminade...scored both goals, including the game-winner in the second overtime period, as HPU rallied by Hawai‘i Hilo 2-1 on Nov. 5.
Kelly White - Hawai‘i Hilo (Sr., 5-7, D, Santa Barbara, CA/San Marcos)...scored two goals and totaled four points in a 1-2 week for the Vulcans...tallied the game-winner vs. Chaminade in a 3-0 shutout on Nov. 7...added a second goal in the win.
