HPU rookie Meghan Fuller chosen PacWest Player of the Week
Meghan Fuller claims PacWest Player of Week
PHOENIX, AZ - Hawai‘i Pacific freshman defender Meghan Fuller (Pearl City, HI/Pearl City) has been chosen the Pacific West Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the second time in 2009.
The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Oct. 12, for games played Oct. 5-11.
Fuller unleashed four goals over three games for a total of eight points. She also was responsible for both game-winning goals in a 2-1 week for the Sea Warriors.
Fuller scored three times on Oct. 10 in a 4-1 victory over NDNU, while on Oct. 6 she ended the game in the second overtime frame in a 1-0 HPU triumph over Academy of Art.

Victoria Colon - Notre Dame de Namur (So., 5-1, M, San Diego, CA/Mission Bay)...scored two goals and posted four points in a pair of tough Argo losses during the week...scored both goals vs. BYU-Hawaii in a 5-3 loss...first goal tied the game 2-2...second goal tied the game 3-3.
Kaylen Jackson (left) - Grand Canyon (Sr., 5-3, M/F, Tucson, AZ/Amphitheater)...scored two goals and totaled four points in 7-0 GCU victory over Chaminade on Oct. 10.
Shannon Larsen - Dixie State (Sr., 5-3, F, Salt Lake City, UT/Skyline)...scored two goals, including the game-winner, in 7-0 thumping of Chaminade on Oct. 8...finished the week with two goals and four points.
Stephanie Malone - Dominican (CA) (Fr., 5-5, F, Sacramento, CA/Rosemont)...scored two goals and finished with four points in Dominican's (CA) lone game of the week - a 6-0 blanking of Hawai‘i Pacific at home.
Lauran McCullough - BYU-Hawaii (So., 5-3, D, Kennewick,
WA/Kamiakin)...recorded four assists over three games
for the Seasiders last week...assisted on two goals during 5-3
victory over NDNU on Oct. 8...assisted on a pair of goals in 5-0
victory over Academy of Art on Oct. 10...finished the week with
four points on the four assists.
Emily Mearns (right) - BYU-Hawaii (Jr., 5-6, F, San Ramon, CA/California)...scored four goals at NDNU on Oct. 8, giving the Seasiders a 5-3 victory...each of her first three goals gave BYU-Hawaii a one-goal lead...finished the game with eight points.
Jessica Michie - Dixie State (Jr., 5-5, F,

d six points on three goals in pair of Dixie State wins during the
