California Baptist's Kimberly Allard earns PacWest Women’s Soccer Player of Week honor

PHOENIX, AZ - California Baptist rookie forward/midfielder Kimberly Allard (Riverside, CA/La Sierra) has been chosen the Pacific West Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week.

The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Wednesday, Sept. 7, for games played Aug. 29-Sept. 4.

Allard recorded four points on a goal and two assists in 4-0 blanking of Northeastern (OK) State on Sept. 1.

She figured in three of the team’s four goals, including curling in the game-winning goal on a corner kick at 20:01.

She also assisted on the game’s second and fourth goals to help the Lancers to a commanding victory.

Camille Jensen - Dixie State (Sr., 5-6, M, North Logan, UT/Sky View)...scored game-winning goal vs. Northeastern (OK) State on Sept. 3...led Red Storm to a 2-1 win...game-winner came at 22:00, putting Dixie State ahead 2-0...finished game with two points on the one tally.

Nicoline Jorgensen - California Baptist (Sr., 5-7, GK, Odense, Denmark)...posted a 1-1 mark and a 0.50 goals against average during the opening week of the season...halted 6 of 7 shots on net over 180:00 of action...earned a shutout win vs. Northeastern (OK) State on Sept. 1...stopped 5 of 6 shots in a tough 1-0 loss at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 3.

Carianne Makino - Hawai‘i Pacific (Sr., 5-3, GK, Honolulu, HI/Kaiser)...earned a 1-0 victory vs. Mary (ND) on Sept. 2...stopped all nine shots on net.

Kristine Pasek - Hawai‘i Hilo (Fr., 5-5, F, Apple Valley, CA/Granite Hills)...totaled four points on two goals in 3-2 double-overtime victory at San Diego Christian on Sept. 2...gave UHH a 1-0 lead 9:11 into the contest...scored game-winning goal at 1:03.21 to give the Vulcans the win.
