NDNU senior goalkeeper Kelsey Baxter named PacWest Women’s Soccer Player of the Week
PHOENIX, AZ - Notre Dame de Namur senior goalkeeper
Kelsey Baxter (Pleasanton, CA/Amador) has
been named the Pacific West Conference Women’s Soccer Player
of the Week.
The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Oct. 31, for games played Oct. 24-30.
Baxter led the Argonauts to a 1-0-2 week with three shutouts, a 0.00 goals against average, and a perfect 1.000 save percentage
She halted all 18 shots flung her way while playing in 310 minutes of action - including two double-overtime 0-0 draws at Dixie State on Oct. 27 and 29. She also blanked BYU-Hawaii 2-0 on Oct. 24.

Julia Anglin - Grand Canyon (Sr., 5-8, F/D, Litchfield Park, AZ/Desert Edge)...scored game-winner at 22:04 in 3-1 comeback win at CBU on Oct. 26...finished week with two points while Antelopes split two games with Lancers.
April Beck - Dixie State (Sr., 5-7, GK, American Fork, UT/American Fork)...halted all eight shots on goal flung her way during a 0-0-2 week for the Red Storm...posted a 0-0-1 record...had all six saves and earned a shutout on Oct. 27 in first 0-0 double-overtime tie vs. NDNU...played first half and stopped two shots on goal in second 0-0 double-overtime draw vs. NDNU on Oct. 29...had 1.000 save percentage and 0.00 GAA in 165 minutes of action.
Massiel Castellanos - Notre Dame de Namur (Fr., 5-3, F, San Mateo, CA/Woodside Priority)...recorded a goal and an assist for a three-point effort in 2-0 upset of BYU-Hawaii on Oct. 24...goal put Argos ahead 2-0...assist came on game-winning goal.
Brianna Lopiccolo - Hawai‘i Hilo (Fr., 5-6, F, San Jose, CA/Arch Mitty)...scored game-winning goal at 11:39 of 1-0 home victory vs. Chaminade on Oct. 26...finished week with two points...lone game of the week for Vulcans.
Kylee Nicassio - California Baptist (Sr., 5-9, F, Alta Loma,
CA/Los Osos)...recorded a three-point week while
helping Lancers to share of PacWest title...scored game-winning
goal in 4-1 victory at Grand Canyon on Oct. 29...recorded an assist
in 3-1 loss vs. Antelopes on Oct. 26.
Rylei North - BYU-Hawaii (Fr., 5-7, F, Bountiful, UT/Alta)...recorded a six-point week on three goals for the Seasiders...recorded game-winning goal at 59:41 on a penalty kick in 3-1 victory at Dominican (CA) on Oct. 28...scored twice in 3-0 win at Academy of Art on Oct. 26.
Jessica Santos - Notre Dame de Namur (Fr., 5-7, F, Rocklin, CA/Rocklin)...scored game-winning goal in 2-0 upset of BYU-Hawaii on Oct. 24...finished game with two points.
