BYU-Hawaii senior Britt Edman claims final PacWest Women’s Soccer Player of Week honor

PHOENIX, AZ - BYU-Hawaii senior forward/midfielder Britt Edman (Salt Lake City, UT/Highland) has been named the final Pacific West Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week for 2011.

The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Nov. 7, for games played Oct. 31 - Nov. 6.

Edman led the Seasiders to a 1-1-0 week by scoring four goals and totaling eight points over two games.

Edman scored three goals and amassed six points in a 7-1 win over Chaminade on Nov. 5.

She also tallied the lone goal in a tough 2-1 loss vs. Hawai‘i Pacific on Nov. 2.

PacWest Women’s Soccer Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll

Kelsey Baxter - Notre Dame de Namur (Sr., 5-10, G, Pleasanton, CA/Amador)...posted a 2-0-0 mark during the final week of the season...led Argos to a 2-0 win vs. Hawai‘i Hilo on Nov. 4...earned 2-1 win at Dominican (CA) on Nov. 6...posted a 0.50 goals against average and an .889 save percentage in 180 minutes of action...recorded one shutout and eight saves.

Julianna Bratsberg - Dominican (CA) (Jr., 5-6, M, Santa Rosa, CA/Maria Carrillo)...had four points on a goal and two assists despite a 0-3-0 week for the Penguins.

Hannah Emmett - Academy of Art (So., 5-4, M/F, Halifax, NS, Canada/Citadel)...scored two goals and totaled four points in a 4-3 overtime victory vs. Dominican (CA) on Nov. 4...put Urban Knights ahead 3-2 at 64:41...broke 3-3 tie at 7:11 of overtime to give Urban Knights the victory.

Liana Gualdarama - Hawai‘i Pacific (Jr., 5-7, D, Waianae, HI/Kapolei)...scored the game-winning goal at BYU-Hawaii on Nov. 2 in 2-1 HPU victory.

Amanda Lammers - California Baptist (Sr., 5-5, F/M, Menifee, CA/Calvary Chapel)...had a goal and added an assist in 3-0 blanking of Dixie State on Nov. 5...totaled three points in the victory.

Brianna Lopiccolo - Hawai‘i Hilo (Fr., 5-6, F, San Jose, CA/Arch Mitty)...totaled three points on a goal and an assist during a 2-1-0 week...scored game-winning goal at 66:14 in 2-1 victory at Art U on Nov. 6...assisted on game’s first goal in 3-2 win at Dominican on Nov. 2.

Kristine Pasek - Hawai‘i Hilo (Fr., 5-5, F, Apple Valley, CA/Granite Hills)...totaled four points on two goals in a 2-1-0 week...scored game’s first goal in 2-1 win over Art U on Nov. 6...broke a 2-2 tie with game-winning score at 78:31 in 3-2 victory at Dominican (CA) on Nov. 2.

Stephanie Phillips - Grand Canyon (Sr., 5-7, GK, Tempe, AZ/Corona del Sol)...forged a 1-1 double-overtime tie at Dixie State on Nov. 3...stopped 15 of 16 shots on goal...posted a 0.82 goals against average and a .938 save percentage in 110 minutes of action.

Lindsey Poulsen - Hawai‘i Hilo (So., 5-7, F, Los Gatos, CA/Bishop Arch Mitty)...recorded five points on two goals and one assist in 2-1-0 week...scored both goals in 3-2 victory at Dominican (CA) on Nov. 2...assisted on game’s first goal in 2-1 victory over Academy of Art on Nov. 6.

Tori Selesia - Dominican (CA) (So., 5-5, F, Sonora, CA/Sonora)...totaled four points on two goals despite a 0-3-0 week.
