3 PacWest women's soccer teams earn berth in NCCAA West Regional Championship
PHOENIX, Ariz. - Third-seed Point Loma will
face No. 2 Azusa Pacific in the opening round of the National
Christian Collegiate Athletic Association (NCCAA) West Regional
Championship on Wednesday, Nov.
14 at 6 p.m. in Azusa, Calif.
The winner of the PLNU-Azusa Pacific match will then play at No. 1 seed California Baptist on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. for the NCCAA West Region title.
The winner of the region will advance to the NCCAA National
Tournament that will be held in Kissimmee, Fla., Nov. 28-Dec.
1.
PLNU, Azusa Pacific and California Baptist all are currently
in the transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II and are not
eligible to participate in NCAA Championship events.
