California Baptist’s Rosie Nakata named PacWest Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
PHOENIX, Ariz. – California Baptist junior
Rosie Nakata (Mililani, HI/Mililani) has
been selected the Pacific West Conference Women’s
Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week.
The conference announced the honor on Monday, Oct. 22, for games contested Oct. 15-21.
Nakata recorded a 2-0-0 record with two shutouts for the Lancers during the week.
She halted all seven shots on goal she faced, produced a 1.000 save percentage, and turned in a 0.00 goals against average in 180:00 of action.
Nakata repelled both shots on goal in a 2-0 shutout win at Notre Dame de Namur on Oct. 18 and stopped all five shots on net in 1-0 win over Dominican on Oct. 20.
