California Baptist’s Rosie Nakata claims PacWest Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
PHOENIX, Ariz. – California
Baptist junior Rosie Nakata (Mililani,
HI/Mililani) has been selected the
Pacific West Conference Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of
the Week.
The conference announced the honor on Monday, Oct. 29, for games contested Oct. 22-28.
Nakata recorded a 2-0-0 record for the Lancers during the week, halting 9 of 11 shots on goal. She produced an .818 save percentage and a 1.00 goals against average while playing 180:00 in net.
Nakata repelled 7 of 8 shots on goal in a 3-1 win vs. Grand Canyon on Oct. 27 and stopped 2 of 3 shots on net in 4-1 victory over Dixie State on Oct. 25.
