Art U’s Hannah Emmett named PacWest Women’s Soccer Player of the Week

Hannah Emmett PHOENIX, Ariz. – Academy of Art junior midfielder/forward Hannah Emmett (Halifax, NS, Canada/Citadel) has been selected the final Pacific West Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for 2012.

The conference announced the honor on Monday, Nov. 5, for games contested Oct. 29-Nov. 4.

Emmett totaled five points on two goals and one assist during a 3-0-0 week in Hawai'i. She scored the game-winning goal in the 51st minute of a 1-0 win at Hawai'i Pacific on Nov. 1.

She also tallied the game's first goal in the 81st minute of a 2-1 overtime win at Hawai'i Hilo on Nov. 3. Later in the contest she set up the game-winner 4:25 into the first overtime period.

Amanda Hardy (So., 5-4, F, San Diego, CA/Westview) – Azusa Pacific – led Cougars to a 2-1 victory over Dixie State on Nov. 3 – lone game of the week for Azusa Pacific…assisted on game's first goal in 37th minute…tallied game-winner in 50th minute…finished game with three points.

Tiffany Kracy Megan Herring (Jr., 5-7, GK, Santa Rosa, CA/Montgomery) – Dominican – posted a 0-1-1 week with a 0.45 goals against average and a .955 save percentage in 200 minutes of action…stopped 21 of 22 shots on net…all 13 in a 0-0 double-overtime tie vs. PLNU on Nov. 3…repelled 8 of 9 in a 1-0 loss at BYU-Hawaii on Oct. 30.

Lauren Ishii (So., 5-3, GK, Mililani, HI/Mililani) – Chaminade – recorded a 0-1-1 week for the Silverswords by producing a 1.35 goals against average and an .864 save percentage…stopped 16 of 17 shots on goal in a 1-1 double-overtime draw vs. BYU-Hawaii on Nov. 3…it marked the first point of the season for the Silverswords who were 0-13 in the conference entering the game…BYU-Hawaii is headed to the NCAA II playoffs…halted 3 of 5 shots on goal in a 2-0 loss on Oct. 30.
