PHOENIX, Ariz. - The chase for the Pacific West Conference women's soccer title continues to be an open battle with four teams still having only one or two losses.

Grand Canyon (8-1-2) won its sixth in a row with consecutive victories over Dixie State.
The 'Lopes, who are very close to securing the conference automatic qualifier for the NCAA tournament, edged the Red Storm 2-1 on Tuesday, Oct. 16, in St. George.

Point Loma (7-1-1) played out of conference this week, blanking Cal State San Marcos 2-0. Fresno Pacific (5-3-3) lost to Azusa Pacific but rebounded with a 2-0 victory over Academy of Art.
Three other teams - Dixie State (6-5), BYU-Hawaii (5-3-2), and Dominican (5-4) are still mathematically alive for the conference automatic berth, but their hopes are dimming.
Dominican bounced Art U 1-0 before falling to California Baptist by the same score.
