Dixie State rookie Sarah Hughes selected PacWest Women’s Tennis Player of the Week
PHOENIX, AZ - Dixie State rookie Sarah Hughes
(Bountiful, UT/Woods Cross) has been named the
Pacific West Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Week of
2011.
The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, April 11, for matches contested April 4-10.
Hughes won her lone match of the week, defeating her Division I opponent 6-2, 6-3 at sixth singles.
It marked the lone team point of the match in the Red Storm’s 5-1 loss vs. Southern Utah on April 7.
