Trio of BYU-Hawaii players named to NCAA II Championship All-Tournament Team

PENSACOLA, Fla. - Three Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s volleyball players were selected to the NCAA II Championship All-Tournament Team, on Saturday, Dec. 8, following a stellar appearance in the post-season event.
Lauren Hagemeyer, Stella Chen, and Michelle Chen all were given spots on the 12-member team following the championship game that Concordia-St. Paul won over Tampa 3-2.
Hagemeyer, a senior outside hitter, averaged 3.71 kills and hit .382 for the seven games of the tournament. She also put up 1.14 blocks per contest.
Stella Chen, a sophomore outside hitter, averaged 4.43 kills per set and hit .296. She also led the team with 4.43 digs per game during the tournament.
Michelle Chen, a sophomore setter, averaged 12.71 assists per game and 3.29 digs. She also led the team with two service aces for the two matches BYU-Hawaii played.
