PHOENIX, AZ - For the fourth time this season, Hawai‘i Pacific senior Frida Aspnaes (Norrkoping, Sweden) has been selected as the Pacific West Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.

The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Oct. 4, for races contested Oct. 1-2.

Aspnaes was phenomenal at the 36th Charles Bowles Invitational hosted by Willamette University in Salem, OR, on Oct. 2.

She finished second out of 257 runners by completing the 5K course in a time of 17:28.05.

Renee Dominguez - Dominican (CA) (Fr, 5-3, Morgan Hill, CA/Live Oak)...top runner among Penguin participants at the Sonoma State Invitational on Oct. 2...finished 17th overall on the three-mile course with a time of 20:35.

Ina Marie Hjorth - Hawai‘i Pacific (Fr., 5-8, Aarhus, Denmark)...finished 27th overall and second among Sea Warriors at the 36th Charles Bowles Invitational at Willamette University in Salem, OR, on Oct. 2...finished the 5K course in a time of 18:09.84.

Hailey Grossman - Hawai‘i Pacific (Fr., 5-11, Makawao, HI/Sea Bury Hall)...finished 195th overall and fifth among the Sea Warriors at the 36th Charles Bowles Invitational at Willamette University in Salem, OR, on Oct. 2...finished the 5K race in a mark of 20:38.85.

Kim Kuhnert - Hawai‘i Pacific (So., 5-8, Leverkussen, Germany)...finished 104th overall and third among the Sea Warrior entries at the 36th Charles Bowles Invitational at Willamette University in Salem, OR, on Oct. 2...completed the 5K course in a time of 19:21.52.

Lynette Manuel - Hawai‘i Pacific (Fr., 5-8, Oromocto, New Brunswick, Canada/Oromocto)...placed 176th out of 257 runners at the 36th Charles Bowles Invitational at Willamette University in Salem, OR, on Oct. 2...completed the 5K course in a time of 20:26.25.

Joanna Stizmann - Dominican (CA) (Jr., 5-6, San Rafael, CA/Marin Catholic)...placed third among Penguin runners and 31st overall at the Sonoma State Invitational on Oct. 2...finished the three-mile race in a time of 23:15.

Skylar Tarver - Dixie State (Fr., 5-4, Phelan, CA/Serrano)...placed 18th at the Cal State San Bernardino Invitational on Oct. 2...posted a time of 26:12.1 on the 6K course.

Keara Teeter - Dominican (CA) (Sr., 5-5, Milwaukie, OR/La Salle)...ranked second among Penguin runners and finished 25th overall at the Sonoma State Invitational on Oct. 2...covered the three-mile course in a time of 21:24.

Kendra Woodglass - Dominican (CA) (Fr., 5-6, Mt. Shasta, CA/Mt. Shasta)...finished 35th overall at the Sonoma State Invitational on Oct. 2...covered the three-mile course in a time of 24:04...had the fourth-best time among Dominican (CA) runners.

Megan Young - Grand Canyon (So., 5-7, Glendale, AZ/Cactus)...finished 13th among runners from four-year schools at the Desert Twilight Cross Country Festival hosted by Arizona State University...posted a time of 20:50.0.
